Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do epoxy flake systems work?
A: A resin base coat is applied to the surface, decorative flakes are broadcast into the wet resin, and then a clear protective topcoat locks everything in place for a seamless and durable finish.
Q: Why choose polyaspartic over regular epoxy?
A: Polyaspartic cures faster, resists UV damage (no yellowing), and offers superior resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and impact — delivering better long-term performance.
Q: Can these floors handle vehicles and heavy use?
A: Yes — both epoxy flake systems and polyaspartic topcoats are engineered to
withstand the demands of automotive traffic, tools, and heavy equipment without deteriorating. It’s the prep work that makes all the difference
Q: Do you offer a warranty?
Yes! We guarantee the labor for 10 years and the product for 20. Not happy with the end-product? Just let us know. We always work to make things right.
Q: How long does a typical install take?
A standard 2 or 3 car garage will take 3 days. Day one is prep day: we grind the existing surface and seal cracks. This step is vital! The next day we apply the epoxy topcoat and broadcast the flakes. Day 3 we return, scrape excess flakes and then apply the polyaspartic top coat.
Q: When will I be able to use the garage after install?
You’ll be able to walk on the surface 24 hours after the job is complete but vehicles needs to stay off for 72 hours.
